The High Cost Of Socialism
ObamaCare isn't just any old socialist lie -- it's an EXPENSIVE socialist lie, and new numbers show just how much is about to be stolen from your pocket to pay for it: $1.76 trillion.

That's TRILLION with a T, for the next 10 years of ObamaCare costs.

That's almost double what the president himself claimed in 2009, when he said it would cost "just" $900 billion over 10 years (his remarks on the costs of ObamaCare haven't been erased from the White House website yet).

Want to know the worst part of this? I'll bet you anything that this new estimate is still on the low side.

Here's the cold, hard truth about Obama's plot to socialize medicine: they can pass all the laws they want, raise taxes on everyone, force us all to buy insurance, print more dollars, and even borrow billions more from China -- but there's still no way in heck they'll be able to pay for it.

And when the money runs out, your care won't just be rationed. It'll be cut off when you need it most.

If you want to see how all this works in real life, just head on over to Jolly Olde England, which ObamaCare backers believe is some kind of medical utopia of controlled costs.

Sure, they manage to keep a lid on costs over there -- because the powers-that-be refuse expensive treatments for the people who need them most, especially seniors.

One new look at the numbers there finds that 14,000 seniors with cancer DIE every year because they're refused life-saving treatments that patients routinely get in other nations.

Those 14,000 deaths add up to 10 percent of all UK cancer deaths and 3 percent of all deaths in the nation from all causes at any age -- and you can blame them all on cost control, not cancer.

Take a good look at this, America -- because that's what's in your future, too, if ObamaCare is allowed to stand.

The ObamaCare Experiment
Great Britain and Canada have nationalized health care systems. In each country there is one payer for health care services: the national government. These systems are called single payer systems.
In each country the health care system has been known by the same term since being established. That term is socialized medicine.
In 2010, the US Congress passed legislation that established the federal government as the only insurer and approver of health care services for all Americans. All Americans will be covered by this federal health care system. The federal government will pay for only those health care costs that it approves. The federal government will be the only legal insurance provider.
That is socialized medicine.
In 1994, when Clinton attempted to pass health care legislation, it was correctly called socialized medicine. Americans recognized it as socialized medicine and rejected it. Do Americans today fail to understand that Obamacare is socialized medicine?

Do you know which health insurance denied coverage more frequently to more individuals than any other insurance plan in 2009? The correct answer is Medicare. I knew that.
I did not know that.

Do you know that Obamacare increases taxes immediately, but does not start to provide healthcare benefits until 2014? I knew that.
I did not know that.

Obama’s Budget Director, Peter Orszag, admitted one month after Obamacare became law that a "powerful Rationing Panel (Not Doctors) will control health care levels". This non-doctor panel known as the Independent Payment Advisory Board has the power to deny or allow medical procedures, allocate medical resources, and control the use of the American health care system.

Health care quality can be improved, availability can be broadened, and the caliber of providers should be held to high standards.
Health care problems and failings have become everyday political issues with politicians speaking out more during election seasons and less following their election. Employers including large corporations, small businesses, and sole proprietors, must frequently evaluate options, assessing their impact upon costs, employees, and operations. Employees must consider health care insurance premiums, features, and medical leave offerings in their employment decisions.
Today's health care providers, insurers, drug companies, delivery systems, and procedures have evolved over time. The system has obvious strengths and weaknesses. Health care reform must appropriately improve the general good without impairing the already high caliber of many aspects.
The information you provide below will be combined statistically and anonymously with other individuals' information. Trends and totals will be provided to legislators to support their assessments, and thereby help improve the health care industry where appropriate.

The US health care system provides the highest quality & most available medical care in the world to all who need it whether they access it using a doctor's appointment, hospital clinic, or emergency room.
In actuality, currently everyone in the US can receive medical care anytime it is needed.

The US health care system needs some limited reforms. Specific problems that should be corrected include:

Please check each that you agree with.

Insurance Reform:  Insurance should be owned by individuals and not connected to their employers.
Tort Reform -- that is, Legal Liability Reform:  Those huge, sometimes frivolous multi-million dollar lawsuits, should be controlled.
Families & Individuals In Poverty:  Government should provide a safety net to ensure that these people can get insurance if they want it.
Other reforms:
The ObamaCare law includes insurance coverage for all citizens. All citizens will be subject to the plan's Article 1233 which states that a 26-member panel of experts will determine who is eligible and who is not eligible to receive costly medications, transplants, and life-extending procedures including surgeries. Do you support the Obama administration's law as enacted?
Strongly support these changes
Support these changes with other reforms
Against ObamaCare as it is now enacted because it determines who will receive life-saving medications & procedures, and mandates end-of-life conditions.
